If you don’t see your question listed, please contact me directly. If you’re here because you’re not quite sure what a travel planner does or how I help make your trip better, this page will show you how I work, what you get, and why having someone experienced in your corner makes a real difference.
Booking travel today can feel overwhelming — hundreds of sites, dozens of “best price” claims, hidden restrictions, fine print, add-ons, limited-time offers, payment deadlines, and constant changes. A travel advisor exists to take all of that off your shoulders.
When you book with me, you get a personal advisor, not a call center, website, or anonymous booking engine. I don’t just make reservations — I help you design a trip that actually fits your needs.
Here’s what a travel advisor actually DOES for you:
• Makes sure you’re not choosing the wrong cruise, resort, room type, or itinerary
• Helps you avoid common mistakes travelers make when booking online
• Finds the best promotions, packages, and hidden value
• Watches for price drops and new offers
• Manages deadlines so nothing is missed
• Handles issues so you don’t spend hours on hold
• Gives honest recommendations based on experience — not commissions
• Helps with every part of the trip, not just the booking itself
Here’s what I personally add on top of that:
✓ Choosing the right destination, cruise line, resort, ship, or itinerary
✓ Matching your budget, interests, and preferences
✓ Flights, excursions, dining, transportation, and special experiences
✓ Pre- and post-trip options
✓ Payments, reminders, and deadlines
✓ Tracking price drops using CruiseTrack or manual monitoring
✓ Handling changes, cancellations, upgrades, or questions
✓ Tips, insights, and strategies I’ve learned from my own travel across Europe, Disney, Universal, cruises, and all-inclusive resorts
Why you shouldn’t travel without an advisor:
Travel advisors protect you from:
I’m your expert, advocate, and guide — before, during, and after your trip.
And the best part?
You never pay more. You get all the support, guidance, and experience at no additional cost.
My only goal is to help you plan a vacation that feels easy, personalized, and unforgettable.
There are a lot of travel advisors out there — but not all of them actually travel.
What sets me apart is a combination of real-world experience, hands-on knowledge, and personalized guidance that comes from years of exploring the destinations and brands I recommend.
1. I’ve personally experienced the vacations I plan.
I’ve sailed extensively across multiple cruise lines, explored Europe, visited Disney and Universal countless times, and stayed at all-inclusive resorts.
I don’t just read about these destinations — I’ve been there.
That means I can give you insider tips, honest opinions, and recommendations based on first-hand experience, not guesswork.
2. I translate real experiences into tailored advice for your trip.
Because I've done these vacations myself, I know what actually matters:
I don’t give cookie-cutter answers. You get advice that is relevant, practical, and personal.
3. I’m here for you before, during, and after your trip.
Unlike booking engines or call centers, you don’t wait on hold or start over with someone new.
You have one experienced advocate who already knows your preferences, travel style, and priorities — and stays with you all the way through.
4. My services are always free — and backed by top-tier agency support.
You never pay extra to use me.
I’m supported by MEI-Travel, an award-winning agency with preferred supplier relationships, training, and exclusive perks.
The bottom line
You’re not just getting someone who can make a reservation.
You’re getting a seasoned traveler, a professional advisor, and someone who genuinely cares about helping you create incredible memories — with the kind of insight that only comes from actually being there.
When you book with me, you’re not just getting a reservation — you’re getting access to benefits, protections, and opportunities that aren’t always available when booking on your own.
Many of the best perks in travel aren’t publicly advertised, and some are only available through agencies like MEI-Travel or through preferred network partnerships. My job is to make sure you get every advantage that applies to your specific trip.
Here are some of the extras you may receive:
• Group pricing
• Onboard credit
• Resort credit
• Gifts or welcome amenities
• Agency-exclusive perks
• Priority booking windows
• Exclusive cabin or room categories
• Bonus promotions (when offered)
• Upgrades (when available)
• Added perks & amenities
• Discounts & promotional rates
• Price drop monitoring & repricing (when eligible)
Not every supplier offers every perk, but I make sure you get the maximum value available, whether that’s savings, bonuses, upgrades, or better package inclusions.
And the best part?
Even when the “price” looks the same online, the experience isn’t the same.
You get someone who knows the destinations, understands the fine print, secures the best options, monitors for improvements, and supports you the whole way through — all at no extra cost to you.
Bottom line:
You get more value, more support, and more opportunities for savings — without paying anything extra.
No — all quotes are complimentary.
The only thing I ask is that you don’t take the information I provide and then book the trip elsewhere.
No.
You pay the same price booking through me as you would booking directly with the supplier. My commission is paid by the travel supplier, not by you.
This applies to:
✔ Cruises
✔ Disney vacations
✔ All-inclusive resorts
✔ Hotels
✔ Tours
✔ Most vacation packages
Often, yes.
I have access to agency-exclusive perks and promotions you may not receive on your own, including:
I almost always provide extra value that’s unavailable through DIY booking.
Yes — when the supplier allows it.
Many cruise lines, resorts, and hotels have price-match policies or offer comparable promotions. I can help you understand the fine print, compare apples to apples, and confirm whether the lower rate is actually eligible.
If a qualifying price appears, I’ll work to match or beat it.
I’m happy to help you compare options, but I’m not a price-comparison site.
If your only goal is to collect prices from multiple agents or websites, I may not be the best fit.
My real value is helping you plan and match the trip that fits your needs — not just finding the lowest number.
I focus on quality, not quantity.
Instead of overwhelming you with dozens of choices, I send the best options that truly fit your dates, interests, and budget.
This helps you make a confident decision without sifting through endless nois
Absolutely. In addition to cruises, I book:
• Disney vacations
• All-inclusive resorts
• Hotels
• Tours
• Vacation packages
• International trips
• Custom travel planning
If you have a destination in mind, I can help you explore it.
Yes!
I can assist with:
• Flights
• Pre- and post-trip options
• Shore excursions and activities
• Dining times and restaurant reservations
• Onboard entertainment and experiences
• Transportation and transfers
• Travel insurance guidance
My goal is to make travel planning feel easy and stress-free.
In many cases, yes — if the reservation can be transferred to me.
This depends on the supplier and booking rules.
Typically, I can take over a reservation if:
If a supplier does not permit transfers or you choose to book separately, I’m unable to assist because I’m not assigned to your reservation.
Since it costs nothing extra to book with me, there’s no downside to letting me handle it from the start.
In many cases, yes.
Most cruise lines allow 24–72 hour courtesy holds, depending on availability and the sailing.
If a hold is available, I can secure it while you finalize your plans.
I continue monitoring your trip even after you’re booked.
For cruises:
I use CruiseTrack, an automated monitoring system that alerts me the moment a qualifying price drop or new promotion becomes available.
For all other vacations:
I monitor resorts, vacation packages, hotels, and partner suppliers for new promotions, discounts, or upgrade opportunities.
When a new promotion or lower price appears - and your reservation qualifies - I will:
✔ Reprice the trip
✔ Contact the supplier on your behalf
✔ Apply discounts, upgrades, or added perks (when allowed)
I try to reply to every request within 24–48 hours (usually sooner).
If you don’t see a response:
Yes — I’m here before, during, and after your trip.
If you experience issues with flights, reservations, schedule changes, or supplier communication, I’ll help guide you through it and work with the travel supplier when possible.
You’re never on your own when you book with me.
Yes — please don’t ghost me.
I put real time and research into every quote. If the trip isn’t a match — budget, dates, destination, or timing — just let me know. We can easily adjust and explore more options.
And remember:
I can help you search and book more than just cruises — including Disney, Universal, all-inclusive resorts, luxury hotels, international trips, and custom travel planning.
